to ByWay of the Arts, one of Pennsylvania’s seven Artisan Trails. Funded in part by PA’s Department of Community and Economic Development and aided by the partnership of PA Council on the Arts as well as our regional visitor’s bureaus, these trails utilize rural roadways as driving routes to guide visitors on artistic adventures, Pennyslvania's scenic countryside serving as a beautiful backdrop along the way.

This PA Artisan Trail is approximately 180 miles running north to south, captivating you with rural hideaways and quaint shops to hip urban galleries and distinctive lodging choices. These art-full destinations offer you the experience of seeing and collecting striking paintings, drawings, photographs, metal sculptures, pottery, jewelry and so much more. The ByWay of the Arts also includes the chance to visit artists’ studios, where you can watch skilled artisans at their craft and workshops where you can try creating your own masterpieces.
