Hunters Valley Winery

Hunters Valley Winery is a farm winery located on a beautiful spot overlooking the Susquehanna River that is midway between Harrisburg and Selinsgrove on Route 11 & 15.
Bill and Darlene Kvaternik have been making quality local wines for 25 years; and Manager Shirley Hartz provides a friendly welcome to visitors, encouraging them to tour the facility, taste the wines, and have picnic on the porch.
Hunters Valley hosts an Open House and Craft Show twice each year – in June and October – featuring local musicians, wine tasting with light refreshments, and many local crafters who display their wares (and sometimes demonstrate) on the lawn.
A grand 40'x60’ pavilion with the Winery's spectacular view is also available for special events such as weddings, receptions, and more during Pennsylvania's warmer months.
In the summer, visitors can watch the Millersburg Ferry crossing the river. A great day trip includes venues in Newport, the Winery, a ride on the Ferry and a visit to the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art. |
